Chakra is a remote, off the grid location. We have no human neighbors and the nearest town, San Jerónimo, is 5kms away. It takes 4hrs to drive from San José and about 1.5 hrs to hike up the hill. We are located right next to Chirripó National Park, home of Costa Rica’s tallest mountains and eternal waters.
